The story behind the storyteller

After two decades in advertising, I walked away and returned to my hometown, Gorakhpur. I explored hospitality and events, survived demonetization and Covid, and eventually found myself farming mangoes and raising fish - rediscovering patience, rhythm, and life in its rawest form.

I observe. The world is my classroom. Every loss, every victory, every silence teaches something. I pair those observations with out-of-the-box thinking shaped by a lifetime of reading fiction. My first book may be a sci-fi thriller, but I refuse to be confined by genre. Stories find me in many forms - romance, espionage, action, philosophy and I follow wherever they lead. At the heart of everything I write are emotion, intellect, and unbridled imagination.

I write to nourish my soul and to remind the younger generation that life’s visible and invisible gifts come for a reason. Some we welcome. Some we resist. But all of them shape us.

I write commercial fiction driven by momentum, emotion, and consequence. My stories live where love collides with power, where belief is tested and ordinary people are forced into extraordinary choices. I’m drawn to high-stakes narratives, fast-moving plots layered with mystery, danger, and the quiet human vulnerabilities that make every victory possible and the struggle for it worthwhile. Whether set against ancient secrets or futuristic frontiers, my worlds are built to feel immediate, immersive, and impossible to walk away from.

At the heart of my work are characters who refuse to surrender to grief, to fear or to fate. I believe great storytelling is not just about spectacle, but about tension you can feel and decisions that matter. I dare to ask difficult questions. I dream beyond the obvious. And I write stories designed to thrill, to move, and to stay with you long after the final page.
